Chandigarh, 15 April, 2013:The Lokhandwala Punjabi Association and Punjabi Global Foundation organised “Baisakhi Di Raat 2013” a Punjabi show at Lokhandwala Club, Mumbai with today’s young singing stars.
The event was attended by Gurudas Kamat (MP) as a Chief Guest and by Lakminder Khurana as a Guest of Honour.
The musical night was witnessed the first time performances by duo Navraj Hans (son of Legend Hans Raj Hans) and Gurdeep Mehndi (son of Legend Daler Mehndi). Tochi Along with Raina, Ramji Gulati, Dolly Sidhu, Carlyta Mouhini and Neeru Rawal total 14 singers performed in a single show to entertain audience.
Gurpreet Kaur Chadha exclaims, “Baisakhi is considered as most important festival of Punjabi’s and I am glad to organise such a event to celebrate the joy and goodness of this festival with all the maestros and am much awaited to witness the performance by Navraj Hans and Gurdeep Mehndi, that’s going to be the treat for the evening.”

Keeping the objectives of Punjabi Global Foundation in mind which are to revive and recognise the potential of Punjabi folk art in uniting the community and the nation, organising charitable programs and events helping the needy and senior citizens and most importantly promoting the Punjabi Cultural heritage.
