Tells Juhi Chawla: “I had the biggest crush on you!”
The actor confesses his childhood love on ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’
You never forget your first love and Vivek Oberoi surely hasn’t forgotten his! When seeing Juhi Chawla up, close and personal on the sets of Zee TV’s ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’, the actor came clean about his long harbored crush on the lovely actress. “I had a huge crush on you after watching Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak,” confessed Vivek as he watched Juhi shake a leg to ‘Ghazab Ka Hai Din’ from the same film. Juhi however laughed out loud saying, ‘You mean you had a crush on me when you were 10 years old?” making Vivek blush a bright beetroot red.
“It was such a big coincidence that Juhi was on our sets on the 25th anniversary of QSQT’s release. I very clearly remember watching the film as a kid and had a huge crush on ‘Radhika’. She became the epitome of the woman I aspired to date. Even back then, her vivacious ways and cute smile were so endearing that I think all the boys in India fell in love with her. I watched the film over and over again just to relive the story of Raj and Radhika which I found extremely sweet.” Says judge Vivek Oberoi with a grin.
Even li’l Nihar dropped onto his knees and broke into a song as he asked Juhi to join him onstage for a dance to ‘Ghazab Ka Hai Din’ where he played the role of Raj to her Radhika. Juhi was charmed by the idea of having a 5 year old Raj and promptly got up to accompany him.
The actress was on the show to promote her upcoming film ‘Hum Hai Rahi Car Ke’ along with her co-stars, Dev Goel and Adah Sharma. The trio were amazed by the wholesome talent on the show and were full of effusive praise for all the kids.
