Zee Cinema, the ultimate Hindi movie destination is all set to entertain its viewers with a fun film festival, this Diwali season. With the festival of lights just around the corner, the channel that pioneered the trend of exclusively showcasing the best of Bollywood movies has yet again kept up the momentum with their Diwali special – Har Din Diwali Film Festival.
Vishwas Rao (Shahid Kapoor) is raised by his mother, Savitri (Padmini Kolhapure), who hopes that her son will grow up to be a brave Inspector but Vishwas wants to become an actor. Dressed as a Police Inspector for a photo shoot, he meets social worker Kajal (Ileana D'Cruz) during a car chase. When Kajal mistakes him as an inspector and thanks him for helping her catch the goons, Vishwas plays along. He is mistakenly published in the newspaper as an Inspector, which his mother sees and arrives in Mumbai to see her dream come true. However, circumstances lead Vishwas to carry on his lie not only to Kajal, but also to his mother. Will his mother and Kajal ever get to know about his true identity?
