Rafi Malik in Tere Sheher Mein’s Ramashrey!
Rafi Malik who was last seen in Desh Ki Beti Nandini is back to television screens with Star Plus’ latest offering, Tere Sheher Mein. The actor who plays Ramashrey Gupta is paired opposite newbie Anjum Fakih.
Rafi is quite kicked about his role and had to undergo some workshops to fit into the bill of Ramshrey. Ramashrey is a Benarasi boy and Rafi had to take dialect classes to perfect his Benarasi dialect. Not just this, the actor also had to lose weight for the show as well.
Rafi says, “Ramshrey is a very important character in my life and I am giving it my best shot. I had to lose 11 kgs of muscle weight to ensure I don’t look beefy on screen. I worked out a lot to get the right body type for Ramshrey. I am just hoping that the audiences like the character.”
Tere Sheher Mein is the journey of Amaya Mathur (Hiba Nawab) from Paris and Banaras and stars renowned faces like Gautami Kapoor in the show. The show airs, every Monday-Saturday at 10 PM only on STAR Plus. //(Ludhiana)
